Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal

Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal


-2 medium apples, chopped

-2 tablespoon flaxseeds

-2 1/2 cups of rolled oats

-1 teaspoon nutmeg

-1/4 teaspoon cardamom

-1/4 teaspoon allspice

-1 teaspoon cinnamon

-1/4 ground ginger

-1/4 teaspoon salt

-1 teaspoon baking powder

-2 1/2 cups almond milk (or milk of choice)

-1/4 cup maple syrup

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

-1/2 cup chopped walnuts 


Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F, and chop apples into 1/2 inch pieces.

Step 2: Mix the dry ingredients together, rolled oats, flaxseeds, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, ginger, cardamom, salt and baking powder in a large bowl.

Step 3: Pour the wet ingredients over the dry, the almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla and mix evenly.

Step 4: Pour the mixture into a oven safe dish and bake for 35 minutes. Let the oatmeal cool completely before cutting.
