Honey Chicken Kabobs

Ingredients:

Marinade:

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Kabobs:

  • 8 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 medium bell peppers, chopped
  • 5 small onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Skewers

Instructions:

  1. Make the marinade, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, oil and black pepper. 
  2. Add 1/4 cup of the marinade into a jar, seal and set aside.
  3. Add the chicken, bell peppers, onions, and garlic to the bowl with the marinade. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  4. When ready to cook, preheat the grill on high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  5. Drain the marinade from the chicken and vegetables. Thread the chicken and vegetables onto the skewers.
  6. Place the kabobs on the grill turning frequently and brushing with remaining marinade until nicely browned on all sides (about 12 to 15 minutes). 
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
